• Hobbies, interests: Camping, church events, travel, cooking, learning about teen life from my girls (can be scary at times).

• Where do you get your news? Yahoo, Plumaslakelife.com

• What keeps you in the Plumas Lake area? Great community

• What aspects about the community attracted you here initially? Close to camping and outdoor activities, found a house I fell in love with.

• Do you belong to any clubs or organizations in the community? Plumas Lake Life forum (addicted!), Bayside Plumas Lake Church

• If you were in charge, what would you change about the Plumas Lake community? Bring our retail in faster … need my Starbucks.

• What are your favorite places to go in Yuba-Sutter/Mid-Valley/Sacramento area? Lunch dates with my friends at new places.

• What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I worked with a guy who was a friend with Prince. That was fun.

• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? Health for those I love (I want my Grandma back)

• Favorite musical group: Trace Atkins, Montgomery Gentry. I like new country and Christian.

• Favorite television show: “CSI,” “Law and Order” and “HGTV”

• Favorite sports team: OK, I have to say this to keep peace at home: Raiders.

• Who do you most admire and why? I admire my grandpa most. He has always been a dad to me throughout my life. He is now dealing with his own health problems and taking care of my grandmother with Alzheimer’s. He has always been strong and the best guy in my book! He would take me out on dates as a kid. I grew up without a dad and he stepped right in and filled those shoes. He is great.

• Tell us about a life-changing experience: The birth of my daughters. The amazing transformation from a dream in my heart to a little baby, and realizing that I am here on earth of raise these babies to be good, God-fearing productive individuals.

• What was your first job? Cleaning shelves in a ceramic store at 13

• How would you describe yourself? Cross between Elmo and Garfield. Fun-loving and a good friend but likes to be mellow, relaxed and can be a smart

aleck.

• What kind of pets do you have? Maggie , the cutest Shiz Tsu ever! She is

my other daughter.

• What was your least/favorite subject in school? Math, what else?

• What are your favorite foods? Mexican, Thai, Italian. Actually… not

many I do not like.

• What was the last good book you read? “21 Things I wish My Broker Had Told Me” (real estate book)

• Favorite movie: Too many to choose. I love chick flicks (when I get to watch them), comedies, and anything with John Travolta, Bruce Willis or Tom

Cruise.
