• Where do you get your news? Internet, newspaper (Appeal- Democrat, Sac Bee), TV
• What keeps you in the Plumas Lake area? The community atmosphere is great. Seeing the development and the growth is very exciting. It’s just far enough away from the city, but not too far.
• What aspects about the community attracted you here initially? Initially it was the price of the homes. Also, the size of the home that we got compared to everywhere else.
• If you were in charge, what would you change about the Plumas Lake community? I would like to see more patrols of the area by the proper authorities. It seems to me that some days you can see a lot of patrols going through, and other days maybe none.
• What are your favorite places to go in Yuba-Sutter/Mid-Valley/Sacramento area? Taco Bell of course! I just the love the area, I am the outdoors type, and Plumas Lake is really close to many outdoor activities.
• Favorite musical group: I don’t have any one favorite musical group. I enjoy every type of music out there. I have been told that my CD collection spans very wide and makes no sense! Music is a great outlet to me. I have everything from Journey,
to Al Green, to Hank Williams (Jr. and Sr.) to Metallica, to Snoop Dogg. It all just depends on my mood.
• Favorite television show: “24” and “Lost”
• Favorite sports team: Oakland A’s, San Francisco 49ers, and the Sacramento Kings.
• Who do you most admire and why? That would have to be my father. He is the hardest-working person I know. Growing up, I hated him for everything. Now, being a father myself, I understand where he was coming from. And I owe most of my success to him, for the values and lessons that he taught me. Thanks dad!
• Tell us about a lifechanging experience: I spent some time overseas, in Third World countries, while serving in the United
States Air Force. I have seen things that put life here in the U.S. into great perspective. I don’t take anything for granted.
• What was your first job? I sold sno-cones at Oakwood Lake waterslides in Manteca when I was 14.
• What kind of pets do you have? We have a cat, and a Chihuahua.
• What are your favorite foods? There’s nothing better than a thick, juicy porterhouse!
