Holiday lights contest returns

The 2009 Plumas Lake Holiday Lights Contest is under way.
Online participants can submit their houses now through Saturday, Dec. 19. Online voting will take place on Dec. 19 starting at 7 p.m. and ending at midnight. The winners will be announced Monday, Dec. 21.
Contest organizers also will be at Eufay Wood Sr. Memorial Park, Zanes and River Oaks, on the 19th, where participants can pick up maps and drop off print ballots.
