• What keeps you in the Plumas Lake area? All the wonderful neighbors and community members we have meet in the last several years.

• What aspects about the community attracted you here initially? Housing prices; couldn’t afford to live in Sacramento and needed to move for my husband’s work

• Do you belong to any clubs or organizations in the community? Mom’s Group, Mothers of Preschoolers, Bayside Church of Plumas Lake and the Plumas Lake Youth Sports Association

• If you were in charge, what would you change about the Plumas Lake community? I would put in some more entertainment options for older kids, such as a skatepark and other recreational outlets.

• What are your favorite places to go in Yuba-Sutter/Mid-Valley/Sacramento area? The Brick (Marysville coffee house).

• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? To win the Lotto

• Favorite musical group: Third Day

• Favorite television show: “My Name is Earl”

• Favorite sports team: 49ers

• Whom do you most admire and why? Billy Graham for his commitment to his faith and his courage to share that with world

• Tell us about a life-changing experience: The birth of my daughter, not knowing you could love someone so much. The actual birth and seeing her for the first time was something I will never forget

• What was your first job? At the Pumpkin Patch at the Nut Tree in Vacaville

• How would you describe yourself? Outgoing, friendly

• What kind of pets do you have? One cat and Charlie the fish

• What was your least/favorite subject in school? Least favorite was English and typing, and my favorite subjects were any math classes

• What are your favorite foods? Mexican

• What was the last good book you read? “To Live Is Christ” by Beth Moore, “Cape Refuge” by Terri Blackstock

• Favorite movie: James Bond (any of them)
