Plumas Lake Kids OPEN NEW SCHOOL!

The last few weeks of summer bring along with them giggles, smiles and preparation as the children of Plumas Lake headed back to the classroom the week of August 20th.

For some children this just meant a new classroom and teacher and for others a whole new school as the Plumas Lake District continues to expand and change.

The new Cobblestone Elementary School opened its doors in Plumas Lake.

This year also brings with it the first time the Plumas Lake district will hold a middle school that is aimed at offering sixth through eighth grade students more diversified course offerings.
