Klamath Falls woman hurt in Highway 70 crash dies

An Oregon woman who was involved in a vehicle collision on Highway 70 last week has died, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Gertha E. Mulhollen, of Klamath Falls, Ore., died Friday, three days after her 1995 Buick Roadmaster rear-ended a truck hauling heavy farm equipment near Saddleback Road, the CHP said in a news release.

Mulhollen, 76, was driving north on Highway 70 around 5:30 p.m. Nov. 27 when she crashed into a 1999 Kenworth driven by Alfredo M. Rosales, of Gridley, who was pulling out of a driveway.

Rosales was not injured.

Mulhollen was taken to Rideout Regional Medical Center where she later died.

Neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the crash, the CHP said.
