Deputies: Burglar steals safe from Linda Subway restaurant

Yuba County sheriff’s deputies are asking the public’s help to identify a burglary suspect.

Early Sunday, a man in a black hooded sweatshirt pried open a door at a Subway sandwich shop in Linda and stole a safe, Sheriff Steve Durfor said in a statement.

Financial losses were still undetermined Tuesday morning, the sheriff’s department said.

The burglary occurred just before 6 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Beale Road.

Security footage shows a man about 5-foot, 9-inches to 6-foot with a thin build, authorities said.
