PLYSA sports leagues forming for Fall

Several fall sports leagues for community kids are starting to form. The Plumas Lake Youth Sports Association (PLYSA), which has put together sports leagues in the area for three years, is in the midst of organizing its fall sports leagues, which include soccer, football and cheerleading.

In years past, kids from all over Plumas Lake have participated in the leagues where they gain instruction in the simple structure of these sports and gain some beginning experience on how the games are played. In addition, participants are introduced to teamwork.

The league is currently accepting registrations for all three sports; registration deadline is Aug. 15.
